Chevrolet Corvette Raffle Winner Announced. Winnings Florida Institute of Technology Scott Center

The Florida Institute of Technology congratulates Andrew Ollikainen, a PhD student in aerospace engineering. This is the winner of the 2014 Chevy Corvette red raffle previously owned by F. Alan Smith, a Florida Institute of Technology councilor and former vice president of finance for General Motors.

The raffle took place on Wednesday June 30th at 7pm at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Melbourne. The event was hosted by Professor Emeritus Bill Jergens, an athletic director at the Florida Institute of Technology, and when viewers heard live Facebook broadcasts, Smith drew a winning ticket.

“I am particularly excited to develop my relationship with F. Alan Smith,” said Andrew.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Scott Autism Treatment Center, a nonprofit treatment and research facility at the Florida Institute of Technology founded in 2009, and the quality of life of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and related disorders in central Florida.
